TRADITOM results showcased in Technical Dossier

A recent Technical Dossier published by the Catalan Department of Agriculture, Livestock, Fisheries and Food is dedicated to the Catalan varieties of tomatoes, in particular to the “Tomàquet de Penjar“, which is a traditional variety and emblem of Catalan agriculture. As part of dissemination series on traditional varieties, this dossier is primarily directed at Catalan famers and everybody else interested in Catalan food and agriculture.

It prominently features a six-page article entitled “The traditional varieties of tomatoes from the Mediterranean Basin: Cultivated origin and diversity” written by TRADITOM consortium members Antonio Granell (CSIC), Jaime Prohens (UPV) and María José Díez (UPV).
