EIP-AGRI promoting innovation in agriculture

The agricultural European Innovation Partnership (EIP-AGRI) has been set up in 2012 by the European Commission as a new way of helping the agricultural and forestry sector to become more productive, sustainable and capable of tackling current challenges such as fiercer competition, more volatile market prices, climate change and stricter environmental rules.

The focus of EIP-AGRI lies on forming partnerships: It aims at linking different actors in the EIP-AGRI network including farmers, advisors, researchers, businesses, public authorities or NGOs. To promote interaction between the stakeholders, the EIP-AGRI web platform has been set up. Through the interactive website users can share innovative project ideas and information about research projects. All visitors can state their research needs, discover funding opportunities and look for partners to connect with.

To share the project’s mission and to enhance visibility, TRADITOM is published on the EIP portal at this link.
