After the publication of the final Horizon 2020 work programme for 2018-2020, the dialogue on how to design future EU policies accelerates.

To see all thematic activities at a glance, download the factsheet on Genetic Resources and Breeding by EIP-AGRI. Among related initiatives, TRADITOM is listed as collaborative project funded under H2020 Societal Challenge 2.

A series of events on food, agriculture and rural R&I is currently taking place to discuss the outcomes of the strategic approach and to reflect on the future direction of agricultural research. The event series includes the 11th OECD Rural development conference (9-12 April, Edinburgh/ UK), the EU AgriResearch Conference (2-3 May, Brussels/ Belgium), and the Bulgarian Presidency Food2030 Conference (14-15 June, Plovdiv/ Bulgaria).

The discussion process will continue during the coming months to generate ideas on how research and innovation can contribute to the future of food production, farming and rural communities.
